What is herd fest?
HERD FEST 2025 is the inaugural Northeast year-end fitness celebration — a one-day spectacle designed to showcase the strength, grit, and community of athletes across every division. Too often overlooked, the Northeast is home to some of the most talented and passionate competitors in the sport, and this is their stage to shine.
On Saturday, November 22, 2025, the historic Morristown National Guard Armory transforms into an electrifying arena, packed with unmatched energy and crowd-pumping intensity. Athletes will face 4 epic tests, battle for their place on the leaderboard, and throw down for a $15,000+ cash prize pool.
And for those who can’t make it in person — the action will be streamed live on The Sevan Podcast and The HERD ATHLETICS Channel, bringing the excitement straight to the fitness community worldwide.
This isn’t just another competition — it’s the grand finale of the season and the very first chapter of a new tradition. A day to push limits, celebrate accomplishments, and be part of a community that thrives on challenge. Morristown: A Revolutionary Stronghold
- Dubbed the "military capital of the American Revolution," Morristown was the site of two critical Continental Army winter encampments—first in 1777 and later during the brutal winter of 1779–1780—chosen by General George Washington for its strategic location and defensive terrain.
- The town's Ford Mansion served as Washington’s headquarters during the second encampment, where he and his staff conducted planning amidst extreme hardship.
- Sites such as Jockey Hollow, Fort Nonsense, and the New Jersey Brigade encampment are preserved today within Morristown National Historical Park—established in 1933 and notable as the nation's first National Historical Park

Workout Flow
Teammates may split Front Squats and Calories however they choose. One works while the other waits at the start line. To switch, the active athlete must return and tag their partner.
After completing calories, both athletes run to the finish line to perform a 1RM Clean & Jerk. Athletes may load the bar together.
Scoring
PART A - Time is recorded when Calories are complete.
Part B score = combined max Clean & Jerk of both athletes.
TEST 2
Workout Flow
Unless “Synch” is specified, teammates may divide the reps as they choose.
Lunges: Performed in 10 ft increments (total of 50 ft), divided into 5 quadrants. If a rep is failed, the athlete must return to the previous quadrant. Teammates will follow one another through the lunges.
Sandbag Cleans: Same quadrant rules apply. Sandbags advance one quadrant every 6 reps (ELITE) or every 10 reps (TEAMS).
After completing all sandbag cleans, athletes will lunge back to the rig, perform toes-to-bar, and sprint on the Assault Bike to complete their calories.
Once the Assault Bike is finished, both athletes must run to the finish line. Time is recorded when both teammates cross the line together.
Standards
Sandbag Lunges: The sandbag may be carried in any position (e.g., bear hug, on one shoulder, or behind the neck). Each lunge must show full knee extension at the top and the back knee must clearly make contact with the floor.
Sandbag Cleans: A rep is credited when the athlete demonstrates full control with hips fully extended and arms locked out at the top position.
Tie Break
First to complete calories on the Assault Bike.

TEST 3
Workout Flow
Both athletes will begin behind the starting line.
At the call of “3-2-1 Go,” Athlete A will advance to complete 21 reps, followed immediately by 15 reps, and then 9 reps on the barbell.
Once finished, Athlete A must return to the start line and tag Athlete B.
Athlete B will then advance to the barbell and complete the workout in reverse order: 9 reps, 15 reps, and finally 21 reps.
After Athlete B completes the final 21 reps, both athletes must run together to the finish line, where they’ll celebrate with the crowd!
